Luke.10.38 - Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

Luke.10.39 - She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said.

Luke.10.40 - But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

Luke.10.41 - And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

Luke.10.42 - But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.


There are many things surrounding any man in Life. Some are very important, some less important and some not important. Discovering the most important and doing them brings Joy in Life.

According to the word of God (Luke10:38-42), Our Lord Jesus Christ pointed out the needful. The most important thing a child of God should desire is the word of God(1Petwer). It is the word of God that will solve other less important things(Psalm 107:20).

Pondering on the word of God increases Faith of believer's (Roman10s10:17)17). The word of God gives life, the word of God deliver, the word of God guide.

Do the needful, go for the word, there is power in the word. Speak the word, declare it to your Life, keep announcing it. The word deliver. Every other things may perish but the word of God liveth forever. Hallelujah. 

Prayer point: 

Dear heavenly Father I thank you for making me to know the needful. Please help me to do the needful. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
