The term digest here means to get the understanding of the Word. The understanding of the Word of God is through the spirit of God and it is available to every Born again child of God. There are spirit of distraction from the devil that try to distract people when they are reading the Word of God. Believers resist such spirit by digesting the word of God through reading it with full attention and concentration.
