Matthew.5.16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Kingdom here refers to the kingdom of God , an it is an everlasting kingdom. It have been before we were and it is forever. The impact the people of old did is what some of us are enjoying today in the kingdom. Therefore it is important for believers to have an impact to the kingdom. 

Your believe on Jesus Christ is an impact to the kingdom (John6:40), also believers encouraging one another in the Lord that none be lose is an impact to the kingdom (John6:39).  Allowing the Light of God to shine through you is necessary for the kingdom of God to be spread every were. When you acknowledge as a child of God that you are the light the world needs, it will enable you to shine, when you know you are the salt of the world, it will make you to know that the world will be season by you(Matthew 5:13-14). Except the light shine darkness continue to put people in blindness not to do the will of God. 

It is a good work that shine the light(Acts10:38). Making people to believe more on the gospel of our Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit that dwell in you shine the Light.  When the spirit of God dwell in you, it leads you to shine the Light. You shine the light by your good work and you can do good work through the help of the Holy Spirit. Therefore it is important for believers to be filled with the Holy ghost in other to have a great impact in the kingdom of God.

 Prayer point: 

Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for making me the Light and salt of the world. Whatsoever power that have been hindering me not to shine this Light to the world I charge them to stop now, and I proclaim that the Kingdom of God will not die in my time in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
