Psalms 118:28-29]Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. 29-O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

God is delighted in the praise of the children of God. Children of God under the new Covenant (Hebrews8:8,13; Jeremiah31:31) supposed to give God the sacrifice of praise (Hebrews13:15). Creating time to worship God with songs of praise is important to every child of God.

Therefore we present our Bodies a living sacrifice which is our reasonable service (Romans12:1). Creating time to give God praises is important since we are no longer giving sacrifice of animals. God receive the praise of his children(Hebrews 13:15-By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name). When you praise and the presence of God is attracted, then you get direction. God lead his children through the spirit of God, Spirit of God within us is activated when we praise God. This is why it is good for believers to start Prayer in praises and thanks giving to God.  

Under the old covenant when sacrifice of animals are made God looks on the sacrifice and receive. But now under this new covenant God see Jesus Christ that he have paid this price that we could not be able to pay. Then Praising the name of the Lord in PRAISES and exaltation make God happy. He is now happy because we acknowledge the gift given (John3:16). When children of God praise the name of God, God come to receive the sacrifice of praise. Give thank to his name by offering sacrifice of praise. Call the name of our Lord. That is, The King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Prince of Peace etc. Praise Jehovah JIREH, Jehovah shammah, Jehovah Elohim. etc.

Prayer point:

Heavenly Father I thank you because you are God and your son Jesus Christ. Oh Lord please help me to praise and exalt you. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
