John 8:44--Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 

Lie is one of the strategy the devil and his agent uses to distract children of God. The Bible says "there is no Truth in him and when he speaks lies he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and a Father of it. Trying to give attention to the lies of the devil could lead to his further distraction.  They comes with lies when they sees you are focus and you are about know the Truth more . Also when the devil sees, you are more filled with the holy ghost connected to God, he brings lies, So that you could think on it and he will distract you from the lead of God but Children of God knowing this strategy makes his mission to fail, because he is speaking of his own

It is advisable for believers to ignore the lie of the devil, acknowledging that he is speaking of his own. For instance coming across a known mad man trying to raise a quarrel with you reacting to him may strengthen him/her to further quarrel with you, but when you ignore him/her then he/she leaves, after some time knowing that you are not responding to him.

When you lgnore the devil he becomes angry. Giving the devil attention make him happy. Ignoring him make him to know that you understand that he have been overcome and he is speaking of his own. he becomes angry. Let him know you know the Truth and he will flee (James 4:7)

Giving Attention to the devil makes him to occupy your mind with thoughts and make you think on them there by making your to be weak spiritually so that you can be vulnerable to his attack. Know that the devil distract to make you loose focus and be weak spiritually.

Thinking about the goodness and Love of God cast out the fear from the lies of the devil (1John4:18). Therefore it is good to believe, trust in the Truth of the word of God. Resist every registered thought from the devil and his agent with the word of God. Knowing that you have Power over all the power  of the enemies (Luke10:19) resisting of the devil becomes very easy (James 4:7). Reject to listen to the lies imposed from all power of the enemies makes believers to focus more on the Power of God.

Thinking about the goodness of God resist the distraction from the devil. This will increase your faith as a believer and makes you to be more closer to God(James 4:8). 

Prayer point: 

Thank you heavenly Father for making me to know that the devil is a liar. I cast out any thoughtr register in my mind as a result of the lies from the devil. From today I received the power from God(Luke 10:19) not to give attention to the lies of the devil. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
