🧊🧊 RESIST SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS 🧊🧊

Romans 10:3

[3]For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

To be righteous is to be free from sin and guilt. Self-righteousness is to be confidence on ones righteousness rather than confidence on the righteousness of God. 

Therefore because of the righteousness of God, believers have been made free from the law of sin(Romans 8:2). Jesus is the righteousness of God, it is through him that believers are free from condemnation. With self-righteousness the heart will be condem. The heart will not be condem if we live by the spirit of God. If our confidence is not on our selves but God our heart will not be able to condem us (1John3:21).

 Doing things the way the world want it and not the way God want it is an error. 

Any body born again have put on Christ and that is the righteousness of God .. It is no longer him that liveth but Christ now dwell in him(Galatians 2:20). Self righteousness can make someone to be accused by the devil because it is written that by the work of the law shall no flesh be justify(Galatians 2:16).....  The devil know that with self-righteousness none can be save before God (Romans 3:19-29), He manipulate for people to live on self righteousness rather than living by the righteousness of God which is Jesus. Believers are righteous before God because of Jesus. God sees Jesus and accept us because the blood of Jesus Christ have wash away all our sin.  Acknowledging that you are righteous because of Jesus Christ is a way to resist self-righteousness. Resist self-righteousness by living by the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ, this is Christianity, This is the only way through which man can be save. Follow the leading of Jesus. Hallelujah.

Prayer point:

Heavenly Father I thank you for making me righteous through your son Jesus Christ. I resist every manifestation of self righteousness from the devil and his choas against me in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
