RESIST SIN
1 John 3:9
[9]Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
The Bible verse of 1John3:9 make it clear that believer does not commit sin. According to that bible verse it says doth not and not should not. In other word it is in the nature of any body born of God not to commit sin. That is how they are created. They are created not to commit sin. There life repel sin. Whosoever is born of God cannot succeed in sin even if he tries it.
The kind of nature a Born again child of God have reject sin. Sin cannot be attracted to him. Seeing that every child of God in created not to be able to commit sin it becomes important to resist the spirit of sin because it is from the devil. The devil accuses actions of a child of God for he/she to see himselve as a sinner so that he can start imposing sin for him to commit.
There are some action taking as a child of God that the devil and his agent may accuse such action, thinking it is sin and thereafter begin to oppress that person with the spirit of sin so that he will see his/her self as sinner and begin to swim in iniquity. The devil and there agent miss interpret every action of children of God and see it as sin thereafter begin to impose sin for that person to commit. Therefore seeing that sin is imposed by the devil, resisting it becomes Paramount. You can resist sin by not allowing your self to be disorganized as if you don't know what you are doing when accuse by the devil and his chaos. Don't allow yourself to be disturb by the lies of the devil. He accuses to make Believers weak spiritually. As a child of God you have to be courageous and not listening to the lies of the devil knowing that Jesus Christ have overcome the word. Cheer for Jesus have overcome the world. The spirit of sin can also be resist by studying the word of God. When the heart is purify with the word of God the spirit that impose sin will flee because the word of God is powerful. The word of God cast out whatsoever thought the devil uses to occupy the mind in other to oppress with the spirit of sin. Any body led by the spirit of God is not bound by the law of sin(Galatians 5:18 ,Romans 8:2) and so he/she cannot commit sin because he/she is led by the spirit of God.
Prayer point:
Lord Jesus I thank you for your lead in my life. I thank you for not allowing me to go astray. I resist every spirit of sin from the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
