John.8.12 - Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Light is of God. Light is the Son of the living God. Light is Jesus Christ. Here in light signifies Jesus Christ, anybody that have light see clearly and knows were he is going. Light makes people to be focused. Light makes people to be happy, light is Jesus Christ and he is dwelling in the life of people of God. Walking in light is the indwelling of the Spirit of God in the life of believers unto which we receive guidance and directions, walking in light is living on the righteousness of God. According to our Bible verse for today, it says "He that followeth Jesus shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of Life. In other word, he that follow and believe on Jesus Christ shall have everlasting life.

Following Jesus Christ have been achieved by doing the work of God. The work of God is believing on Jesus (John6:29). When you believe on Jesus Christ, you are already walking in light.

Light is of great important, it makes people not to get into danger. For instance, when walking in darkness during the night hour, the ability to see clearly is limited. There could be scorpion or snake on the ground, but it may not be seen because there is no light. But if the is light, then can these creatures be seen clearly and if possible killed.

The indwelling of Jesus Christ make people of God to discern and destroy demonic powers and evil spirit (L). The presence of light helps to discern the Spirit at work in any were when present there. Walking in light is living under the direction of the Holy Spirit of God. 

Prayer point:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ the light of the world through which we have been made light. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving us the light of Life and helping us to discern through which we are not kept in darkness in this world. I crush every demonic powers, powers of the enemy, evil spirit against the light of God in my life and the life of the children of God all over the world in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
