 JESUS THE PROPITIATOR BETWEEN MAN AND GOD 

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

According to the English meaning, it define the word propitiatory as one who appeases. In other word , one who creates peace. The ways of the world makes God angry and make man not to be at peace with God. God because angry with man after man disobeyed God in the garden of Eden by eating the fruit of the tree God instructed them not to eat. Man became sinful(Genesis3). But Jesus came through his death and resurrection restored peace again between man and God to every one that believeth on him. It is only through Jesus we have peace with God. That is why it is good for us to follow him. Jesus is peace(Isaiah9:6).

Jesus is the prince of peace, a life in Jesus is a life of peace. As a Christian, you are in Everlasting peace because you are a follower of Jesus Christ. Christian are followers of Jesus. When you follow Jesus you are a Christian. It is only through Jesus we have everlasting peace with God. God look beyond us. He sees Jesus in us and accept us there by making us to have peace with Him.

There are many benefit of having peace with God. For example Blessing, Healing, strength, glory, honour, riches, power, wisdom etc. when you are at peace with God you have every good thing from God. You are at peace with God because you have Jesus dwelling in you. Peace brings development. No nation can do well if they are not at peace. You have an access to the fullness of God. Know that you are at peace with God because you are a Christian, For that, you have every good thing from God. Jesus is the source through which we have an access to the goodness of God.

Prayer point:

Lord Jesus, I thank you for being the source through which I have peace with God. Thank you for making me to have peace with God. I claim all my blessing and benefit as a child of God. Amen.
