As the year is rounding up, some people start counting the achievement they made, others start counting the lust they made in other to prepare well for the new year. As a believer it is a time to count your blessings and acknowledge the goodness of God in your life. 

Don't allow pressure to make you to forget your blessings and the goodness of God. Count your blessings and you will see that God have been so faithful. A song writer said "count your blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done". God have been so faithful in His blessing in the life of His children. The life of Jesus Christ in you unto which your mortal body is quicken is a blessing(Romans8:11) Strength to make wealth is a blessing(Deuteronomy8:18), good health is a blessing(1Peter2:24),power to cast out devil is a blessing(Luke10:19, Mark16:17). Many people have entered into wrong doing today because they are not able to resist/cast out devil that is against their life. Wisdom is a blessing(Proverbs4:7), Riches is a blessing, you have clothes, shoes, house, car, land and material wealth is a blessing, God glorifying himself in your life is a blessing, Honours that you received in that business or organisation is a blessing from God.

Count your blessings. Count your blessings and you will see that God is faithful.

Prayer point: 

Thank you Lord Jesus for blessing me with all spiritual blessings and physical blessings. Lord Jesus I am thankful of your blessings in my life. Thank you Jesus for blessing me and helping me to acknowledge them. Amen.

It is not good again to eat the food unless the thing that stands as contamination on the food is removed. When a negative Proclamation is mixed with a positive one it is not good to accept it again. For instance a prayer that says God bless you and punish you in Jesus name. It is not good to say amen to such prayer knowing it is mixed with both blessing and curse. It is wrong prayer.
