Text: Mathews4:4

Jesus was very hungry after he finished the 40 days fasting and the devil came to tempt Him which he overcame him. Jesus was very hungry but that does not mean the devil should tell him what to eat or what to turn to food. A child of God have the spirit that control the way he eat. Anybody that the spirit of God control the way he eat is eating well.

There are some demonic powers that bring the urge for food and make people to be hungry even when they are not hungry. Such spirit need to be resist through obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit. You will discover that when such spirit have been resist that urge and demonic hunger for food flee. Food is meant for your body, as a child of God don't allow the devil to control the eating for you. We are not ignorant of his devices. Sometimes even when hungry the devil manipulate to make suggestions of what to eat. It is important to silent his voice in that case and eat whatsoever you are lead to eat by the Spirit of God. When satanic voice is silent then the leading of the Lord is clearer.

Another reason why it is important to eat well is to be able to put the flesh under(Romans8:12-13). Sometimes giving the flesh what he wants can bring spiritual coldness. That does not mean if you want to eat bread you should not eat it. You can eat any thing God have created that is pleasing for you to eat but don't allow demonic spirit to control you when to eat it but let the spirit of God control you on eating. I pray God open your understanding as a child of God on this matter in Jesus name

Prayer point: 

Lord Jesus thank you for food and the ability you gave to us your children to eat it. By the power in the name of Jesus I resist every spirit of suggestion from the devil that is against my eating of food in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
