John 8:44

[44]Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 

Lies is the opposite of truth, when there is lie,  it means there must be truth. Whatsoever is contrary to the law is a lie. The law is the law of life which is in Christ Jesus (Roman 8:2). Lies are propagated by devil and his agents.

According to the 44 verse of John chapter 8 of the Holy Bible, it made it clear that there is no truth in him(devil), whenever he speaks lie, he speaketh of his own. Therefore understanding that the devil is speaking of his own, it becomes important not to yield or listen to his lies. 

What are the lies of the devil. As believers, you must understand that whatsoever is against the believe(Faith) you have on our Lord Jesus Christ is a lie from the devil. For instance the word of God says "by his stripes you were healed (1Peter2:24), also the word of God says behold I give you power to tread on sarpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemies. Any other voices that contradict this word of God to make it look as if you can not be heal or come out of condemnation through the word of God is a lie from the pit of hell. Trying to yield to the lies of the devil by believing that you are still in bondage of the devil or you don't have power over demons, evil spirit and powers of the enemies (witcraft power, marine powers etc) is wrong. There are many lies from the devil, as believers anything against Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is a lie.

As believers you must resist the devil whenever he want to talk you out of your salvation (The believe you have on our Lord Jesus Christ) in other to make it looks as if you are still in the bondage of condemnation of the world. Resist the devil by refusing to yield to his lies. 

The means through which we overcome this lies of the devil is our Faith in Christ Jesus (1John5:4), Don't accept any evil name the devil call you. There are many people in the world today that have put on wrong spirit contrary to Divine will of God concerning their life, not because they desire to do what they are doing but because the world have package them to be what is against the will of God concerning their lives. Know who you are as believers (ref: Authority), as you are lead by the spirit of God and resist whatsoever that is contrary to the lead of God in your life. Build your inner-man(spirit) by having an intimacy with God (Ref: Understand His lead) so that you can understand his voice because there are many voices. Don't listen to their lies.

Prayer point: 

Heavenly Father I thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ to us your children through which we understand the lies of the devil through the Holy Spirit. I resist the lies of the devil against me, in the church of God and in my family in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for giving me the grace to resist the devil. Amen.
